HOLIDAY NOTICE

The Municipal & Recreation Office will be closed on Monday May 22nd for the statutory holiday. The Public Works department can be reached on their emergency line at (705) 544-2288.

SPRING CLEAN UP

Spring clean up week begins Tuesday May 23rd. Only yard debris will be picked up at curbside. Please ensure your items are placed at curbside by 8 am on Tuesday May 23rd. 

FREE TIPPING FEES

There will be free tipping fees from May 23rd to June 3rd. The Landfill is open on Tuesday and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Please be advised the Englehart Landfill will be closed on Saturday December 25th and Saturday January 1st. The Landfill will be open for regular hours on Tuesday December 28th and Tuesday January 4th. For more information, please contact Public Works at 705-544-2288

Please note that Garbage and Recycling during the 2021 holiday season will be changed. 

Friday Collection:
Garbage and Recycling collection previously scheduled for December 24th, will take place on Thursday December 23rd, 2021.

Garbage and Recycling collection previously scheduled for December 31st, will take place on Thursday December 30th, 2021.

Tuesday Collection:
Garbage Collection previously scheduled for December 28th, will take place on Wednesday December 29th, 2021.

Arena Complex/Gym

The Arena Complex/Gym is open to the public. As per the Provincial Government, effective September 21st, 2021 all patrons attending the facility must show proof of vaccination as well as valid photo ID before gaining access to the facility. For more information, please contact the Recreation Office at 705-544-1952.

Municipal Office

The Municipal Office located at 61 Fifth Avenue is open to the public. Should you have any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and call the Municipal Office at 705-544-2244.

Englehart & Area Historical Museum

The Englehart & Area Historical Museum remains closed for the 2021 operating season. For more information please call the Municipal office at 705-544-2244.

Please be advised that due to the evolving COVID-19 situation, the Municipal Office will be closed to the public from December 24th 2020 at 12 PM with the expected reopening date of January 11th 2021 at 9 AM. Staff will be in the office to answer phones the week of January 4th 2021. The office will be able to see individuals by appointment only. To book an appointment the week of January 4th, please call the Town Hall at 705-544-2244 to make arrangements.

As Per the Timiskaming Health Unit, Mandatory Masking is now in effect. In order to protect our residents and stop the spread of COVID-19, all person(s) entering the Municipal Office must wear a mask or face covering.
