The Town of Englehart is an active community with many facilities and activities for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Community Badminton runs March - June at Englehart High School on Wednesdays from 6-8.

Youth 13 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult. 

$15 per adult, $10 per student for the season

Indoor gym shoes are required. Please enter through the arena doors to the gymnasium. 

Community Badminton follows the school schedule - no school, no badminton.

The Town of Englehart boasts two fully-equipped ball fields complete with lighting and washroom facility. The newly constructed pavilion adds a large event space to the venue, which also includes a fully-operational concession booth.

Englehart Community ComplexEnglehart & Area Community Arena Complex

The Englehart and Area Community Arena Complex is located at 80 Seventh Avenue in Englehart. The Community Complex houses an 85' x 185' recreation ice rink, banquet hall and boardroom that are all available for rentals. For more information please contact us today.

The Arena is home to a variety of activities such as Public Skating, Skating Lessons, Old Timers Hockey, Private Rentals and Englehart Minor Hockey. Community Hall

The Englehart Community hall is a large, modern space suitable for weddings, conferences,  concerts and other big events. Its industrial kitchen is sure to meet the needs of any renter. There are tables and chairs available to seat 250 comfortably, with room for more if needed. 


Walking Track

The Arena also offers a safe place for people of all ages to walk. Located around the ice rink, visitors are able to come walk indoors year round during Recreation office hours.


The Marty Callaghan Fitness RoomEnglehart Gym

The Fitness Room is open 24/7 for those with a valid membership. To purchase a membership, you may visit Town Hall or the Recreation Office.

Dennis Mortson Boardroom

The Dennis Mortson Boardroom is a perfect space for meetings, training sessions and workshops. It comes equipped with tables that can be reconfigured to suit any group and comfortable chairs. This room is best for groups of 25 or less.

This is for players 35 years of age and older who are looking to play non-competitive hockey for exercise and socializing. Pick-up style games take place twice a week from mid-October to the end of March, with the 2023-24 schedule TBD.

This is a non-competitive group designed for people over the age of 15 of all abilities to get out for some exercise and fun.
