Tourism

The Town of Englehart is a small community in Ontario's Northeast, born as a result of the railway. As the Halfway divisional point, the town became a transportation centre for Northeastern Ontario.

Situated half-way between the U.S. Border and James Bay, mid-way between North Bay and Timmins, Englehart is centrally located making it the perfect next stop for travelers and is increasingly becoming the favored destination of many businesses, tourists and family holidays.

Traveling north along the Trans Canada Highway, one comes across this beautiful oasis of small town charm intertwined with most of the amenities of major urban centres.

If you have any photos throughout your visit further conveying the true atmosphere of our community, please submit them to the Englehart Municipal Office. We would love to display such special experiences here on our website, and we thank you for making "The Little Town with the Big Heart" your "Next Stop".
